    Job Description

    As a Video Editor at our company, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos for internal and external purposes. As video has become the best way for communicating company's messages on online platforms, your position will play an important role in our company's success. The Video Editor works together with creative teams and the in-house production team on a range of projects which include online and social content, mood films and research films, as well as internal agency projects like company events, showreels and case studies. They will be working closely with creatives and producers in concepting and executing edits for all Brand projects to bring excellent quality to all work. Most importantly, the ideal candidate should be open to working on both internal and external projects, is able to offer motion graphic skills, has an eye for design and sees this as an opportunity to develop their reel and work with skilled creative teams.

    Qualifications:

    • Has a minimum of 6 years of video editing/motion graphics experience with an impressive online portfolio of your best work.
    • Proficient experience in Adobe Premiere Pro video editing software is required.
    • Proficient experience using After Effects is required.
    • Profound knowledge in color correction, usage of color profiles and LUTs
    • Knowledge of using After Effects and the ability to create motion graphics and do basic color grading (Lumetri or Da Vinci) is a plus
    • Proficiency in the rest of Adobe's Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
    •  Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
    • Has a collaborative working style.
    • Familiar with social media video trends and styles (TikTok, FB, Instagram, YouTube) • Must be creative, passionate, hardworking and willing to learn.
    • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to a wide variety of assignments and quickly changing priorities.
    •  Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and fast turnovers
    • Experience with using mechanical gimbals and drones is a plus.

    Responsibilities:

    • Looks at raw footage, tags shots, and organizes into archives for easy retrieval.
    • Observes brand standards.
    • Produce, shoot, and edit videos for PureVPN’s social media channels
    • Research, ideate, and pitch relevant content ideas for PureVPN’s individual social media channels
    • Write video strategies, concepts, and scripts
    • Organize personal shooting schedules and workflow
    • Focus on creating content for views and high engagement
    • Supervise the progress of your project from pre-production to post-production
    • Responsible for post-production tasks including creating offline rough cuts, audio mastering, online finishing, color correction, and motion graphics.
    • Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, lights, and other production equipment
    • Work closely with the team to discuss and review the video.
    •  Edits and distributes media content as required.
    • Misc grip work such as assembling, and setting up equipment prior to filming, assistance with video producing, and shoots on-site or in the office studio
    • Recommend social copies for publication.
